Rescued from a heartbreaking cruelty case along with several other dogs, Fancy has blossomed into a joyful, affectionate, and eager-to-please girl who is more than ready to write her next chapter. Fancy is incredibly intelligent and picks up on basic training with ease, making her a pleasure to work with. She's wonderful with other dogs and adores children ages three and up. While she hasn't met a cat, her calm and curious nature makes her adaptable. She tends to bond quickly with women, but once she trusts you, she'll warm up to anyone who shows her kindness and patience. She's also the ultimate travel buddy-she rides beautifully in the car and walks like a dream on leash. Whether it's a casual neighborhood stroll or a new adventure, Fancy is always up for tagging along. She does have an athletic side, though. This girl can clear a five-foot fence without breaking a sweat, so her outdoor time must be closely supervised. A privacy fence at least six to seven feet tall or leashed outdoor play is a must to keep her safe and secure. Fancy also has a soft spot for water. She's still building confidence but already loves dipping her toes in, cooling off on the steps, and trying to catch leaves with her nose.
