About billie

billie is a sweet and special five month old shepherd (mix?). i'm willing to provide her food, crate, toys, etc. to the right home for billie. extremely smart and motivated, she knows sit, lay down, stay, and release and is well on her way to perfecting her inside & outside manners. she socializes all over brooklyn, meeting other dogs and humans and babies. sometimes she can be excited, as puppies tend to be, but generally matches energy. she is not destructive at all-nothing in my home has been chewed! she seems advanced for her age but of course is still a work in progress and we are looking for someone who will give her the care, attention, & continued training she deserves because it's clear that she could be a stellar adult dog. she's unfazed by city noises, & working on her leash walking and crate training. while she loves to be in the same room as her humans, she goes into crate & falls asleep without whining at night, and can be easily crated during the day. she loves playing tug, her version of fetch (ie. the ball needs to be taken from her mouth), and will horseplay if there's a willing opponent-dog or human! she's very fun and sweet and a general joy to be around. i am posting her here due to unexpected health issues that make it impossible for me to care for her long term. PLEASE consider taking this sweet girl in. i don't want to have to surrender her! she is too sweet and special and would make any owner incredibly happy. hoping to find someone with breed experience who is excited about raising a very intelligent puppy.
