Bo is a 15-year-old beagle who was adopted from the shelter in 2012 and returned in 2024, when the owner moved out of state for work, leaving him behind with family members who were unable to care for him. Bo got the full works including vaccine updates, a much-needed dental, and a bunch of fatty mass removals. It was thought that Bo would come into rescue as a hospice case, but we have learned that even though Bo's days might be limited, his will to live is quite healthy and he deserves a family of his own! Bo has healed up wonderfully from his mass removals and was a champ throughout the whole process. He looooves to eat and especially loves his treats! He can be possessive of his food around other dogs and will let out a warning growl if they come too close while he is eating. Bo otherwise gets along well with other dogs and is indifferent of the cats. He has not been kid tested but has a very sweet temperament, so we feel he would be fine with children. Bo is pretty active and loves to stroll around the fenced-in yard at his fosters house. He would love a warm lap to retire on, next! Bo is neutered, microchipped, had a dental completed, had fatty masses removed, and is fully vaccinated. He is fostered in Canton, OH and is available for an adoption fee of $250.00 (reduced to $150.00 for seniors 65+ adopting senior pets).
