About Charles C. Featherbone

Please read this post in its entirety. Thank you. Meet Charles Charley Featherbone an approximately 10 months old teenage German Shepherd mix weighing approximately 67 pounds. This youngste had a rough start because he was a cute fluffy puppy adopted by people who were unprepared to invest time, direction, or set boundaries for his lad. Teenagers need guidance. They push the boundaries and can be stubborn as they make their way into becoming a loving member of the family. Youngsters need to understand expectations of them- but also expect the same of you. He is an eager pleaser- and needs firm consistent direction. Although he is a handsome boy- he is not a lawn ornament! He needs to be included in family activities. He gets on with other dogs who can gently correct him if he gets over-enthusiastic. Charley's ideal family will be active, patient, and engaged. Don't just stick him in a yard left to entertain himself. He wants to be included! He is crate-trained and has good potty manners. Charley has demonstrated a strong prey drive so probably best to have only KC Fried Chicken as he doesn't need biscuits and gravy. No chickens. He has co-existed with cats - but they have been dog-savvy. He has lived with children. His new family should have a spacious fenced yard. I suspect a running partner would be a great way to run off his energy and provide discipline bonding with his master. Tell my guardian advocate about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else identifies your family a good fit. The more information about you - the better. What can this companion expect from you and what are your expectations of him/her? Please be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset medical, and care. Please allow several or more days for a response- as I review inquiries. Lastly, please be cautioned that age-appropriate placement is a priority. If you are not ambulatory this is not the appropriate companion for you.
