About SCOUT

Hi it's me Scout and I'm a little different then the other dogs you may know. Some think it may be why I ended up at a kill shelter and now, even though I've been rescued, it may be the reason nobody has claimed me for their own! This could be true. Some people are afraid of different. But I don't know why anyone would be afraid of me. I'm just chock full of love! Anyway, let me explain. I wasn't born this way and I'd rather not go into how it happened but I have 3 regular paws like all other dogs. It's my fourth paw that's special. It's missing all toes and even though it's only a nub, it does every thing a regular paw can do and more. It doesn't hold me up at all. I can still run and play. I'm always right on time to accept treats. Treats are my favorite! It Doesn't change that I love everyone and get along great with the other dogs or that I like to talk and have a beautiful deep voice. Some say it's weird. But for me, it's my superpower. It's what makes me special. So I'm ok with it and I hope you can be too. I hope you can give me chance to show you just how special I am.
