About SKIPPY

HE SMILES FOR THE CAMERA IN HOPES THAT SOMEBODY WILL JUST ASK ABOUT HIM... All the friends I came in with are gone and the ones that came after me are gone too... All to homes But still no one even asks about me.. Some say it's because I'm different. I have four paws like all the other dogs but one of them, just one, is smaller...It's more like a nub. All the toes are missing and I guess it's not pretty. But It doesn't hold me down at all. I can still run and play and sometimes when I run, I actually skip!!! That's pretty cool, right! And I can do everything the same as other doggies. I'm Right on time for treats. (Treats are my fav!) Can Do a quick flip for a belly rub and am right and ready for a walk or even a hike! See, It Doesn't change anything! I still love everyone and get along great with the other dogs and sometimes when I'm excited, I like to talk to people in my beautiful deep voice. Some say my little paw is weird. But for me, it's my superpower. It's what makes me special. So I'm ok with it and I hope you can be too. If you'll just give me chance, I'll show you just how special I really am. Skippy is a 2 1/2 year old blue nose pit/lab mix who is neutered and has all his vaccinations. We think he's had a rough start in life and got his 'super power paw' in an accident when his paw was caught in something. We think this because he has a scar above where his toes would be. But None of this affected his loving soul. He is always ready to brighten your day or take you out of a funk. If you're looking for a BFF, Skippy is waiting.
