LOCATION: Spring Branch, Texas DOB: 1/2/2019 Hi! I'm still with my owner right now. I'm looking for a foster (fosters get first option to adopt!). This way the team can get to know me better and get an all clear from the vet. Read my bio below! Max is a beautiful blue adult Great Dane in search of a new home due to his owner needing to return to full-time work. While Max is an absolute sweetheart, he struggles with separation anxiety and doesn't enjoy being left alone for extended periods. This anxiety sometimes leads to stomach upset and stress although he's not destructive when left alone. He doesn't require crating and can roam freely, but it's best to keep him on tile or wood floors in case his separation anxiety kicks in. A fenced yard with a doggy door would be ideal, as Max doesn't signal when he needs to go out but won't have accidents if he can access the outdoors freely. Despite his anxiety, Max is a wonderful companion. He loves other dogs and is generally well-behaved, only ever getting into a scuffle when his bone was taken by an unaltered male. Max enjoys outings to dog parks and visiting friends and family with other dogs. While he hasn't interacted with cats, he has a gentle nature and adores children of all ages, making him a fit for most families. Max's friendly demeanor extends to strangers as well. He greets visitors warmly and is well-behaved in public spaces, thanks to his previous experience as an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). He walks excellently on a leash and is comfortable in various environments, including restaurants and other public places. This laid-back and relaxed boy would thrive in a home with a retired owner(s), someone who works from home or someone who is home most of the day. He would enjoy quiet evenings snuggled up on the couch with his new family. Max is the perfect companion for movie marathons, snacks, and fuzzy blankets, bringing warmth and love to any home lucky enough to welcome him. ========================= To apply to foster me, please fill out the application! https://form.jotform.com/60263115921144 .
