About Willow

Willow needs a new home urgently!! We want to keep her away from a shelter, but we need to rehome her before the beginning of June. This is Willow the walking pillow! Willow is a sweet mini australian shepherd who's been with our family for 4 years. She's loyal, affectionate, and SO FLUFFY! Spayed, vaccinated, ~7 years old. Located in American Fork. Willow has anxiety/resource guarding issues and doesn't do well with other dogs and/or kids. So far we've been able to handle that even with another dog and child, but we're about to have another baby and can no longer manage her behavior adequately to feel safe having her in our home. We want her to be happy and comfortable, and she just can't be those things in our house anymore- nor can we be comfortable with her. With adults, she is a true aussie- slow to warm up but then unendingly loyal. We have never had any issues with her behavior towards her adult owners; she's obedient to the point of submissive to us. She is honestly a sweetheart who just wants love and attention. Her love of belly rubs is exceeded only by her love of food! She has had some digestive issues that we've been unable to identify- seems to maybe be food sensitivities and/or anxiety related? She is very well house trained, though, and has only ever had accidents in the house when she has been unable to get outside due to owner error.
