The shelter rescue coordinators also added that 'This 38 lb. boy is quite social if given a short time to warm up, even flirted with the vet. Some matted coat and ear infection that will need follow up. Basic neglect. Did fine with my male dog' and said 'he acts like a golden'. Teddy is now available to adopt, but we are also looking for a local foster for the shelter, or a foster near a rescue who can help. Teddy has no concerning or noticeable medical issues and we have additional pictures and videos we can share showing he is still very mobile, and how lovely he is with people and also another dog in the play yard... However, he did not do well with a smaller dog outside and may be dog selective, or need to be the only dog inside a home.
