About Cooper

Rescue Dog?: Yes, adopted at around 8-12 weeks old from Turks and Caicos. Breed/Mix: Pot Cake - We think mostly Collie, Terrier, Retriever. Appx 50 lbs Age: 3 Sex: Male Strengths: Plays Fetch, Great on Walks/Hikes, Loves the Car, Independent, Very Loyal, Does not counter surf/ is not a food beggar. Can go to the store. Crate trained. Weaknesses: Ok in an open area, but not great with crowds. Not great with loud noises. Nervous around children and infants. Can be over protective of his humans especially in your house. Other Info: All Vaccines and Shots up to date. Neutered. Muzzle and Stim Collar Trained. Hides Special Treats ie: pig ears and bully sticks. Better with female dogs. Cats unknown. We adopted Cooper when he was very young from Pot Cake Place in Turks and Caicos. He was found with his sister behind the airport. He grew up to be a very aware but cautious dog. He can tell if you are trying to trick him such as hiding pills but he will be your best friend once he gets to know you. He enjoys countless hours of ball throwing, tug of war or walks/ hikes. He is also very content laying next to you on the couch. Since adopting Cooper, we have had a baby. While Cooper was extremely close and snuggly during the pregnancy stage, he started getting more nervous as baby became more mobile. At this time, Cooper is too stressed around an unpredictable little human and we sadly need to find him a new home.
