About Merlin

Border Collie, Male, 8yrs old - Small Re-Homing Fee. Merlin is our 8 year old Border Collie that we unfortunately cannot keep any longer. He loves his toys, his Nylabones bones, playing fetch is his favorite activity, he loves being in water and the mini-pools, he loves being outside to play, and indoors to relax. Hes loves being in the backyard and is more used to the backyard than the leash/collar, but could adjust fine to leash/collar if walks are desired. This is due to the fact that we do not go on many walks with him because the house hes in has a secure yard for him, which a yard he will also need. When I blow-dry my hair, he loves having the blow-dryer pointed at him off and on, he gets happy and will go grab his toy for you a lot of the time. =) He is crate (cage) trained and will come complete with his crate (cage) along with his favorite toys. He has high energy (As Border Collies do), but also loves to relax and lounge around. He hates the vacuum and thinks its a monster, and he will bark at it. lol If you mop the floor around him, there is a good chance he will bring you his toy as you mop, and then watch you mop. He likes to hang out with his humans, he likes cats and lives with one (he loves staring at the cat often and is always fascinated by the cat), but he does not like other dogs (male dogs) and sadly does not get along with our other two senior male dogs, and has had altercations with both, which has resulted in us having to separate him from them. He has never been around children before, so a home of a single adult or an adult couple with no kids and no other male dogs is what he needs. He gets along with cats, so cats are fine around him to have. Due to the fact that we are moving soon and the fact that he doesn't get along with our other two senior male dogs, is the reason we are needing to re-home him.
