About Freya

Freya is a mixed breed puppy who is about 4-5 months old. She weighs about 20 pounds now but will grow, of course. Freya and her siblings came to us from one of our shelter partners so we could help them get the care they needed. They are now happy and healthy and ready to be adopted by their forEVER families! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. We also have reduced or waived adoption fees for many seniors, dogs with special medical or behavioral needs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
