About Poppy

Poppy is from working parents, Diamond Kennel, WV. She has never been trained, but she respects livestock when visiting a ranch. She is happy to accompany you when you work outdoors or watching tv. She might jump up on a person for attention, and she doesn't tolerate or forgive negative treatment so she might not get along with children or other dogs. She is crate trained and eats there because she is food aggressive with other dogs. Positive training methods work best with Poppy. However, I've been struggling for a few years with her aggression with one of my other dogs, who returns her aggression with gusto. Poppy is a great companion, but I need to find a safe home for her with someone who knows the breed and can offer her a great life.
