About WYSKI

Name: Wyski Age: 18 months old Sex: Male (Not neutered) Breed: Catahoula Mix, 35-40 pounds Location: Miami County, Kansas Vet Info: Wyski is not up to date with vaccines and has not been neutered or tested for heartworm. He was born blind but has not been vetted so the cause of his blindness is not known. He also appears to have some hearing deficits but can still hear things. Wyski has no other known health issues. Info From Good Samaritan Wyski has been in his current home for approximately 6 months and was taken in when his owner could no longer keep him. He is a very sweet dog and is good with people, dogs and cats. He currently lives with three other dogs (two medium and one large size), multiple cats and a few puppies. Wyski gets along well will all of them and isn't possessive of food or toys. He has never shown aggression or snapped at anyone. Wyski seems to adapt well to new surroundings. He does bump into things when walking but is able to redirect as needed. His current owner believes he may be able to see some shadows and/or light. Wyski is still working on house training and walking on leash. He is nervous when taken outside for walks so will mostly make on pads or paper in the house. He is crate trained for up to 3-4 hours when needed. He is shy when first meeting new people but then is friendly with people and other animals. He has been around children ranging from 1-15 years old and hasn't had any issues. He isn't possessive of food or toys. He plays nicely with the other dogs and likes to play with tug toys.
