Courtesy Posting: SO CALIFORNIA BUT SOME TRANSPORT MAY BE AVAILABLE ALONG WEST COAST TO QUALIFIED HOMES- ADORABLE, 12 WK OLD SHAR-PEI W/CHOW PUPPIES (DAD IS PURE PEI, MOMMA IS A CHOW X). SHOWN HERE IS 'GREYSON' - a male - AVAILABLE TO RESPONSIBLE AND FOREVER HOMES, BUT ALSO LOOKING FOR FOSTERS AND RESCUES TOO IN CA, OR WA Please help us find loving, responsible and forever homes (or foster(s) for a rescue group) for each young and adorable puppy from this beautiful, healthy litter. The puppies are now approximately 12 weeks old and have had their first two sets of puppy shots and recent health certifications. There are 6 puppies available, 4 are females and 2 are males. These puppies were born to a beautiful chow mix who was found pregnant, reportedly lying in the road next to a black male dog who had been hit by a car and sadly did not survive. The daddy is now believed to be a purebred pei after DNA tests were done showing the puppies are at least half pei. While a rescue group originally assisted with initial vetting, and a foster home was found where the puppies have been well socialized with people and other dogs in their current foster home, we are in great need now for homes, fosters and or a rescue to step in for one or more. The momma, a very friendly chow mix with a fluffy, beautiful coat, is described as a sweetheart, very calm, easy to walk on a leash, potty trained, and hardly barks or whines when left alone. She is good with people, and other pets, including cats. The puppies are also friendly and playful, but resemble the coloring and look more of a pei, like their father. They are now weaned and the momma is being placed in adoptive home. This family has been temporarily fostered in the Riverside County area where qualified homes may meet them or within S Cal. However, some transport may also be available to qualified homes on the West Coast up to Washington state. We are also looking for fosters in both CA, OR and WA who we can refer to a rescue group to step in if needed. If you can provide a loving, forever home for a dog for its entire life (and not just as a cute puppy), or can foster one or more pups, please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to assist with their placement. An application, virtual home check, past pet history and vet reference will be requested for adopters. We will be posting videos, more pictures, and any further updates on Facebook so you can see more of them at: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid025yLTtyp1tvUveNY9Txe5XutiEWgxNFX7cmEsst7oGedu8ifrhvFYgDc7aqLr4odDl&id=783968124 Note: to view contents of link you will need to copy and paste it into your browser.
