This 85 pound, approx. 6 yr old, heartworm-negative black silky-coated gorgeous boy (many excellent photos can be provided to potential adopter) is currently my foster. Owner-surrendered due to owner's serious medical issues: house-trained, no barking, non-destructive, loves people & children, bonds quickly & extremely affectionate, knows basic commands, highly intelligent/learns fast, walks on leash & LOVES to play fetch with his Kong balls - he is high energy for his age & wants to be active...likes to go outside but wants to be the family dog but he is dog-friendly if you have others. Unknown how he is with cats, but he is very calm overall in all situations & jumps right into the car - loves car rides. Beautiful face & eyes! Chases squirrels. I cannot keep him because my own two senior foster fails are not dog friendly and I'm having to keep them separate. But I had to get him out of the shelter and try to find his person/family -- please consider meeting this beautiful, loving boy! I will pay any fee for his adoption - if you decide after meeting him to adopt, we would meet at Animal Care & Control, 2020 Forest Street, Jacksonville, FL for you to fill out paperwork to adopt him.
