About Nova

This is Nova girl! She is looking for a soft place to land; foster, foster-to-adopt, or adoption! (Good with kids, cats, and other dogs) What a dream! (Courtesy from the Owner): This is Nova, she is 6 years young and thriving. Her birthday is 10/26. She is a full purebred German Shepherd. She is great with our kids, who are one and three. She LOVES our two boy cats. She has been around other dogs - a boxer and a chihuahua and has done well with both of them (played with the boxer and sniffed the chihuahua then let him be.) (Great with small and large dogs). She has been socialized with a bunch of people very often. She will ask to be pet, then go on give a lick and be on about her merry way. She is spayed, shots I'd just have to look at her paperwork. We have had her since she was 12 weeks old. Unfortunately, we do not have a fenced in yard to let her roam and get her energy out. She has absolutely no aggression, behavioral issues, or bite history. She loves to have a frozen Kong with frozen peanut butter inside of it. We are rehoming her because we can't properly allow for her to get her energy out or mental stimulation due to both adults in the house working full time and being busy with two children under three. We have been debating this since our first was born; Unfortunately now that our lives are busier with two we do not have the time she deserves. We feel awful, but know that she can have a happy end of her life and be more fulfilled with someone that knows and can handle German Shepherds. Also someone who can dedicate more to her than we can. She's had no formal training with a trainer. However, we taught her basic commands like: sit, stay, lay down, paw, etc. She is crate trained fully, & fully housebroken as well. She is in Poconos Area East Stroudsburg! PA We would love to find someone who has GREAT knowledge of German Shepards and who knows the enrichment they desire! Nova is an outstanding dog!
