About Daisy

Daisy is a Portuguese water dog that was used for breeding. Her birthday is 7/11/2020 and she is AKC registered. She is�%A045lbs. She will be 4 years old in July. Along with Daisy, we also rescued another 2-year-old breeding momma, her name is GaGa. Turns out after both were rescued�%A0in February; both were pregnant and delivered puppies in March.�%A0 Daisy is a loving dog that wags her tail when anyone enters the room. Even when she appears to be sleeping, the tails starts wagging. She is a calm, obedient girl. Her only interest in life is to be hugged and loved on, and be by people. When she came to us, she was very matted and she was�%A0shaved down. Her hair has grown back. She has not had a grooming yet, as she still hangs out with her puppies, they leave for adoption after May 9th. �%A0We are waiting until then to groom her.�%A0 She is a very good dog who just wants someone to love her and care for her. She would do best in a quiet adult-only home where she can relax and feel safe. She would love to go on car rides and walks. She is not exactly a couch potato;�%A0however, she is very calm for a PWD.�%A0�%A0Daisy is enjoying life now. ! She likes other dogs, however she does not play. She really has no interest in them. She loves her treats and humans.�%A0 Daisy can leave for her forever home after she is spayed the 2rd week of May. Daisy is Heartworm Negative, Healthy, up to date on all vaccinations and microchipped.�%A0 Adoption Criteria: Daisy can climb a chain link fence. She will need a vinyl or wood 6' high fenced in backyard.�%A0If you live in a condominium or subdivision and HOA�%A0does not�%A0 �%A0 allow fences, leash walking will be considered. Daisy craves companionship�%A0an adult home during the day is essential.�%A0�%A0Children in the household must be 8 years of age or older.�%A0We will consider adoptions out of state, however we will not transport or ship. Once your application is approved, you can submit a $50 deposit to hold him/her.�%A0
