Hey there, everyone! I'm Mathieu, a sweet, friendly, and gentle 50-pound silver-grey, amber-eyed Weimaraner/ American Staffordshire Terrier mix fella who was born about December 2021 and who loves belly rubs. Like both 'Weimies' and 'AmStaffs,' I'm excellent with kids, and my heart's desire is to be a full-fledged member of your family. I also get along great with other dogs, and, as you can see from the attached video, I have a great time playing with the resident Golden Doodle in my foster home. True confessions: I don't do well with cats. I'm an intelligent, obedient dude who has quickly learned a few simple commands like 'sit.' I'm a pleasant mix of two fantastic breeds. Sleek and swift, Germany's Weimaraners, a.k.a. the Gray Ghost, are beloved by hunters and pet owners alike for our beauty, balance, and streamlined grace. We enjoy plenty of exercise to keep us physically and mentally stimulated. We're amiable pooches who cherish quality- and quantity-time with our hoomans. Then again, often called 'nanny dogs,' 'AmStaffs' are renowned for being happy, outgoing, good-natured, stable, and confident dogs who make wonderful family pets. We're usually game for anything and are lovable 'personality dogs' around the house. We too are motivated by mental and physical challenges. I'm such a wonderful, sociable dog that I can't understand why my former owner treated me so cruelly by starving me and severely neglecting me. I was a bag of bones who stood pleadingly behind a chain-link fence when a Good Samaritan first spotted me. Fortunately I was rescued from my hopeless plight, nourished to my prime weight, and brought to Miss Donna to find me a fantastic new home the second time around. Now I'm a well-conditioned, breathtakingly handsome canine specimen who's all ready to be adopted. His adoption fee is $250 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
