About Floki

Floki is a 7 year old, 130 pound German Shepherd rescue. My mother and her husband adopted him at 3 years old but unfortunately her husband has recently passed away and as she is disabled, she is unable to properly care for a large dog. While it breaks her heart to lose her best friend, she knows he will be very happy in a loving home with an owner that has the confidence and time to work with a large dog. Floki wasn't well socialized as a puppy so he is standoffish with other animals and his status around kids is unknown but he is loving, loyal and protective to his humans. He also loves leaving his stuffies in doorways around the house for extra protection! He is housebroken, neutered, knows basic commands, has been through obedience training and has very good manners.. He is a smart dog who would love to learn more. You will always feel safe with this companion by your side.
