About Ali

Please meet adoptable Ali! Ali was found as an emaciated stray who was wandering around Humboldt City limits. He was in pretty poor condition when he arrived here, so it is probably for the best that he was never reclaimed by his previous owners. Now, he just needs a forever home that will treat him right! Honestly, Ali is one of the most energetic pups that has come through the shelter and we truly believe he is going to need a home that wants a dog with a lot of drive! He is very trainable and will do anything for treats. Ali appears to walk pretty well on a leash and has been easy to work with. He does get along with other dogs, and would appreciate a home with another energetic dog that can keep up with him. Who knows, maybe someone out there has an overly playful pup who needs a partner in crime to balance him/her out? If so, look no further than sweet and loveable Ali! We think he would be best suited in a home with no young children. He is not aggressive at all, but again, he is very playful and we worry he may want to play too rough with smaller children. Ali is around two years old and 63 pounds. He has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and is pending heartwom testing at this time.
