About Bart

4/26/23 Bart is a lab/hound/heeler mix about 2 years old and weighs around 50ish pounds right now. He was adopted from us as a pup in June of 2022 and a few weeks ago we got a call that he was dumped at the shelter claiming the new baby was allergic so we swooped in and bailed him out and brought him back into our care. Per his temp foster mom: He's got a sweet soul, rides great in a car, does ok in a crate but would rather be with his people. He's house broken and would never have an accident in the house! Bart does well on a leash and has great recall, he came from a spanish speaking home and is now familiar with basic commands in both english and spanish! He's good with respectful kids, he would need a proper introduction with any other dogs in the home and a female would be best with proper introduction. He will chase cats. **This dog is currently at the rescue in TX however you can secure this pup for yourself with a pre-adoption which means getting your app in, approved and then paying the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $250 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn't work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed.
