Meet Ryder - Your Goofy and Lovable Companion! Ryder is not just any dog; he's a goofy 4-year-old male purebred red-heeler with a heart of gold, eagerly seeking his forever companion. Weighing in at a cuddly 38 lbs, neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines, Ryder is ready to bring joy and warmth to your home. Rescued at the tender age of 7 months, Ryder has been a steadfast member of his current family. He's the epitome of loyalty, sticking to his loved ones like glue and warming their hearts (and feet) with his affectionate cuddles. Ryder's playful nature knows no bounds; he adores the company of fellow canines, regardless of their size. His passion? The game of fetch - his designated job, which he executes with boundless enthusiasm. While Ryder may initially appear shy around unfamiliar humans, rest assured, his heart is as big as his love for playtime. He is great at guarding his home, in the past he has bitten a few guests who entered the home. He's since been trained intensively in specialized cattle dog techniques, including a rigorous 4-week board and train program, and Ryder has overcome any past tendencies towards aggression. Sadly, Ryder's current family finds themselves unable to provide him with the attention and exercise he thrives on, due to their expanding family and demanding work schedules. Nonetheless, he has forged strong bonds with his 1-year-old human sister and 10-year-old jackabee dog sister, proving himself to be a gentle and loving companion to all. In contrast to typical cattle dog energy levels, Ryder tends towards the calmer end of the spectrum, with minimal herding tendencies. Never one to nip at heels, he's content to relax in his crate or bed with a beloved chew toy. Fully house and crate trained, Ryder boasts an impressive repertoire of commands including Place, Sit, Down, Touch, Heel, and Drop it. Ryder's ideal home? One that offers him ample opportunities for exercise and exploration, whether through long walks or spacious outdoor play areas. More than anything, he longs for a family that will embrace him as one of their own, showering him with the love and attention he deserves. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this wonderful companion, Ryder is eagerly awaiting your embrace. Come meet him today and discover the joy of welcoming him into your life!
