About Duke

Duke is 3 years old, neutered and is updated on all vaccines. Hoping to find a home where he will be able to run outdoors and have lots of fun. Duke knows some commands but still deals with the difficulty of excessive barking, leash pulling, and many of the other wonderful behavioral issues an Australian Shepard can come across if not trained well. We've gone through 3 trainers and none seem to really help as well as reinforcing what was learned at home. He has no issues at day care but even getting him in the car is a hassle. Our last resort was boot camp/and or rehoming. I have a 15 year old cockapoo and even though they get along Duke is a lot for my 15 year old. He needs constant entertainment and unfortunately our family wasn't ready or did our research well enough to understand how much of a high energy dog he would be. He means well he just needs someone that's going to have the patience to train him. Duke is so smart and will give you a million kisses. I'm looking for a home where he can have brothers and have fun. I'm located in central, NJ but able and willing to travel
