Hello everyone! My name is Penny and I am a young female dog with a lot of love to give. I am only 1 year old. I am a friendly, affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful, smart, protective, dignified, and a funny dog. I have had a past that's left me terrified of humans. I need time and patience and a safe place in a home until I I adjust. Once I feel safe, I enjoy spending my days following my humans around the house and curling up next to them on the couch. I am very attentive and have been known to give great kisses. I am a very independent dog, but I love my humans just the same! I am still learning how to approach other dogs, but my affectionate and loyal nature means I am sure to make new friends in no time! I would do best in a home without cats, as I've not yet been around them, and with children 8 years or older just because I'm so small.
