About Appa

This is Appa. We adopted him from the shelter a few months ago. Since he was a stray, there was not much information on him. He is a very good boy with boundless energy. Ive taken him on 5+ mile runs and it doesn't seem to phase him at all. He is leash trained and crate trained but can be left alone in the house for 3+ hours and does not have accidents or chew on things (except rugs. He loves rugs) He has shown no aggression towards people. We have a 2 year old and he ignores her most of the time. He is very smart and learns very quickly. Was taught to sit and come in a day, although it's really up to him if he wants to listen. We had fostered him for a bit hoping he would get along with our cat but unfortunately that did not happen. which is why we are rehoming him. We did not have the heart to send him back to the shelter after the fostering as he seemed so frightened there. (Tail tucked in and the only dog not barking) We are hoping to find an active person to adopt him as he is still young and full of energy. He does tend to nip and jump as a way to initiate play, but has never been aggressive. We are also hoping for someone with a large yard as he loves to be outside. Appa will make a great family dog but he also will choose one person as his favorite. Please text me for more information on him if you're interested.
