Meet Cherry! -kid friendly! -dog friendly! -Only 24 pounds! - Around 11 months old! Cherry recently came to us from our friends at Patrick County Public Animal Shelter where is was over looked and not adopted. She's loving the foster home life but is ready to find her forEVER family! Cherry is a little sweetie! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. We also have reduced or waived adoption fees for many seniors, dogs with speciall medical or behavioral needs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
