Blue is a six-year-old silver/blue Great Dane female weighing around 105 pounds. She is in immediate danger and needs a foster home or a forever home now. She was pulled out of this overcrowded kill-shelter by a rescue group because she was being housed in a crate that was extremely small and she would've been euthanized within days. We found out that she had been used as a breeding dog her whole life. This Rescue group has taken care of all of her health issues. She has been spayed and is up-to-date on all shots, heartworm negative, full dental workout and even has had surgery on her eyelids for entropy or basically an eye lift. This Rescue group has had to keep boarding her at that vet simply because they do not have the adequate space that she needs. The group has now exhausted all of their resources and funding and simply cannot afford to keep her boarding at the vet. She is an immediate danger. This sweet girl is a wonderful girl that's had a hard life. She definitely needs someone familiar with great Danes. She's used to being handled, very gentle and sweet, loves humans and is extremely laid-back. She is good with dogs her size. She is house trained and crate trained. Her favorite thing to do is to take a nap on the couch with the sun beaming in on her. Please help before it is too late!
