About Liberty

Berty has been in our home since he was 12 weeks old. He has grown up with our 2 young children. He has not gone to dog parks, etc. and only minimally socialized with other dogs but has been around them on occasion without issue. We can walk with other dogs (and people) around the neighborhood well. Depending on how someone approaches him, he has growled or been territorial while we're on a walk - I don't know if it's because of the leash. Sometimes, I feel like we're not giving him the best life he could live. My hope is that there is someone out there with a large yard/land who can let him out very often or bring him with them on trips, adventures, etc. We began babysitting my brother's dog daily and he seems 'tolerant' of her but doesn't necessarily enjoy it. He seems unsure of his 'position' now. Overall, he loves to run and play and go for walks (I walk him very often). He is a sweet boy, great with our children and those with a confident energy.
