About Fritz

Fritz's family moved and didn't take him! ��%A4����� He is on the lookout for a family that will treat him like the good boi he is and never leave him behind! For a little while, Fritz bounced from shelter to rescue to rescue, as he wasn't doing well with other dogs. The kind folks at Miller's Cause assessed him and discovered that due to his limited vision, he doesn't do well with smaller animals that are difficult for him to see, but he does well with dogs his own size. With slow introductions he integrates well and is playful and happy. Due to these issues he may be best as an only dog unless his new family is committed to careful management. Fritz has a cheerful and exuberant personality. He can be happy and bouncy and sometimes a little mouthy when he gets excited, though he is improving. He loves head rubs! He is a little anxious about brushing around his back legs but overall he is a very sweet boy. Fritz is a 5-6 year old, 55 lb male Australian Shepherd with a vision impairment. Secure fenced yard required.
