About Grace

URGENT!!! [Case opened on 3/29/24]. THIS BEAUTY NEEDS HER FUREVER FAMILY ASAP. WILLIAMSBURG, OHIO. 3 y/o Female FULLBLOOD SHEPHERD. Her name is 'GRACE'. Not UTD on shots. Not Fixed. UNKNOWN WITH KIDS. Good with LARGE dogs. UNKNOWN with cats. Aggression towards small dogs. Recently bit Current Owner's niece out of fear (mild bite). She's nervous around young, hyper kids. House trained. Not Crate trained (good behavior in the house when owners leave). No known medical issues. High Energy. High Prey Drive. Currently on Diamond Natural Large Breed Chicken and Rice food. Weighs 70 lbs. NOT Good with car rides. Favorite Playtime and Toy: Grace loves her ball. She loves to play frisbee, she loves catching it and bringing it back. She loves going on walks and she loves playtime. She loves balls, sticks and anything outdoors. She loves to cuddle. She's very needy and loves attention. Grace is very loving to her person. She is extremely loyal. Extremely beautiful. Grace is a one person shepherd. She will choose her person and that is all that she will want and is comfortable with. Current Owner just rescued Grace through my Service about a month ago. Grace bonded with him pretty quickly and he became her person. He works nights. He is realizing that Grace needs a lot of one-on-one time and needs worked with to be comfortable around other people. Grace is a one person Shepherd and is not comfortable being around other people outside of her person. She is very fearful of strangers. Current Owner has a very social life with friends and family and this is not healthy for Grace. Current Owner also has a hectic schedule and is not able to give Grace the time that she needs. Grace either needs an owner who is pretty much a homebody and doesn't have many visitors, or she needs to be worked with for better socializing. To ensure Grace's happiness and make sure that she can thrive, we need to place Grace where she is respected for being a one-person Shepherd and not exposed to a lot of people or we need to make sure someone can work with her to be more comfortable in a social environment.
