AHFK is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue. Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia. All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit. Our Adoption fee is $300.00 for a single dog adoption. Cody's adoption fee has been partially sponsored. Therefore his adoption fee has been reduced. All our dogs are completely vetted, 4DX tested, current on vaccinations, *spayed/neutered, and microchipped. We are currently accepting adoption applications for Cody. Cody's DOB is 03.28.2023. Cody's momma is a full Beagle. Poppa was of a mixed breed. Cody is of the Beagle family, therefore we are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard. Cody would do best with an active family and one with another fur-sibling to help him acclimate to his new surroundings and environment. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Cody to acclimate to the changes in his life. Meet and greets are scheduled upon approved, completed application.
