About Stella

URGENT! [Case opened on 4/22/24]. THIS SWEET BABY NEEDS HER FUREVER FAMILY ASAP. LIMA, OHIO. 2 Y/O FEMALE FULLBLOOD. Her name is 'STELLA'. 10 way shot from Tractor Supply. Fixed. Microchipped. Good with kids. Good with dogs, but can be aggressive at first (Needs slowly introduced). Good with cats (Chases and aggravates, but not aggressive). House trained. Crate trained. Sensitive stomach. HIGH ENERGY. Currently on DRY RETRIEVER food. Weighs 65 lbs. Good with car rides. Favorite Playtime and Toy: Stella loves chew toys and bones. Stella is a great girl. She is very loyal. Very intelligent. Knows some basic commands. Follows her person everywhere. Sleeps in the bedroom with the current owner and does very well overnight. Stella was rescued from an abusive situation. She was skin and bones and tied to a tree with no food or water and if she was not tied to the tree then she was being kept in a kennel with no access to food or water. Current owner rescued this sweet girl, mended her health and Stella is now ready to find her forever home. Stella is not good on a leash. She is very scared of new places that she does not know. Stella needs someone who can show her love and kindness to allow her to thrive and feel comfortable and safe. Stella can nip at other dogs if not introduced slowly.
