Hi, my name is Heidi and I must say.....I stunningly beautiful. I mean, look into my cool blue eyes, the color of water in a tropical pradise. Yes, I am an angel to be adored. I am 4-5 months old and according to AI, I may be a mix of carolina dog, basenji, redbone coonhound and/or mountain cur. Wouldn't it be fun do get an DNA test and see how intellient AI is? Anyway, I will grow up to a medium to large lady. I'm a very happy girl who loves the company of people. I like to run and play and socialize. I'm smart and happy and I'm looking for an active and engaged family who will give lots of attention and take me on lots of adventures! Summer is the time to explore the outdoors and I would love to go with you. Whadda ya say? Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. We also have reduced or waived adoption fees for many seniors, dogs with speciall medical or behavioral needs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
