About Honey

URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Orange, CA Meet Honey! She is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 30 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn't on heartworm prevention. Honey is hostile around strangers! She hasn't been tested around cats. No children or dogs, due to her reactivity! Honey has bitten 10 of the owner's friends and family, while trying to protect them. She nips, backs up, and bites again. She has broken skin every time she has done this. Honey also bit the owner on her hand, which resulted in a scar. This occurred while Honey was trying to protect the owner from a barking dog. She has been to multiple trainers, but her protective personality hasn't improved. The owner is surrendering her because they have small children and don't want them to get hurt while Honey is trying to protect the family. She needs to go by 5/19! If you think you can provide a great home for Honey, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Honey.
