About Thunder

THUNDER is a 2 year old, 11.3 pound Chihuahua mix who was surrendered after his owner became homeless. LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Love and attention. A fenced yard is best for him. He is so friendly and loves everyone he's with. He is an absolute Velcro dog and his person will never be alone. He is very excited when you walk in the door and greets you with a wagging tail. He can't wait for you to pet him and tell him he's a good boy! Thunder gets along well with other small dogs and would be fine in a home with others or as an only. He would love to have his person's complete attention. Cats are an unknown. We think he would be happy with kids, but we prefer older kids who are used to small dogs for him. Thunder is housebroken, yay! He is not completely leash trained, but we are working on it. He probably should have a fenced yard. At night, Thunder sleeps cuddled in the big bed with his foster mom. He has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
