HAD TO LIST SIMBA UNDER 'MASTIFF' BECAUSE RESCUE ME DOESNT HAVE THE ABILITY TO PUT SIMBA UNDER 'CANE CORSO', WHICH HE IS FULL PEDIGREE. MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE CANE CORSO BREED...AND ALSO PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT SIMBA IS LOCATED IN ORLANDO ....Meet Simba...weighing about 100 lbs...3 yrs old and had been with his owners since he was a puppy. He is very well-trained, dog and kid friendly. The owner lives alone and travels a lot for weeks at a time. Simba's dad used to look after him, but is getting too feeble to do so. As Cane Corsos usually are, According to the owner, Simba is owner protective and needs proper intro to strangers. Then he is fine. The owner has lots of travel to far East coming up for work, and Simba does not do well getting boarded, so we are looking for a proper new home for him. I have been doing rescue for 35 years, and my goal is to make sure I get Simba the home that he needs with a family who knows the Cane Corso breed where he will be cared for in a manner that he deserves for the rest of his life. I was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago and have slowed down with rescue tremendously, but hearing about Simba's story, I was compelled to see to it that he is properly rehomed and he gets the loving home that he deserves for the remainder of his life. Simba is the perfect dog. He's very loyal, as Cane Corso's are. He's potty trained, as long as you take him out. He would do best in a house with a completely enclosed yard (no chain link fences). He walks well on a leash. He would be a great companion to a family. The owner loves him very much and will be sad to give him up, but at the same time, knows now that this is a responsibility that he can no longer have. I have made the commitment to Simba and to the current family to make sure I find him the opportunity to find the right home he needs. My promise to him now is to make sure I find him the best forever home with one who will love him for the many years he has ahead ....a family who will continue to let us know how wonderful he is doing. Simba will be your best friend. Will you be his?? We are looking to find the perfect person/couple/family that will give him as much as he deserves. He comes to you neutered, microchipped (AND MICROCHIP WILL REMAIN IN MY NAME INDEFINITELY), heartworm negative & on heartworm & flea/tick prevention& if u adopt him you MUST keep him on both & up to date with yearly check ups & vaccines.
