He's housebroken and so easy to walk on a leash. Spoke with owner. Long story. Owner is 76 years old and cannot handle all these dogs. Barkley lived with 3 giant saint doodle brothers. He is the only one that looks more saint. He has never seen a cat. Loves to play in yard. Great with all the other dogs at the rescue and foster farm. Was surrendered due to a hole in neighbor's fence. He got out and neighbor would not let them get him and called animal control. The neighbor will not fix the hole and will not let the owner fix it ('being its their fence and you better not touch it). Owner is her 70s and felt having 4 large breed dogs too much. Folks at the shelter speak of how very sweet and gentle he is - even when giving him a cookie. He lived with three giant St. poodles. Also, he is the only one that sheds and the grandon who lives with her is allergic. As mentioned, he is currently at the foster farm with 10 other dogs and NO issues... and barn cats - he doesnt bother with them either.
