About Rainy

Rainy is almost 10 years old and she has been with us since 2014 at the age of about 6 to 8 weeks. She is a very healthy dog and will likely live many more years. We were told she was taken from her mother at an early age, bottle fed, and has just been whiny and a picky eater ever since. She needs a feeding routine and if she is out of it, she gets too hungry to eat. If she doesn't eat on time or gets nauseous from missing a meal, she will puke or get diarrhea for a day or 2. When this happens, if becomes dangerous for our child because he is young, crawling, and putting everything in his mouth. If she gets regular walks in and has the freedom to eat whenever, she does great! She is an extremely friendly dog and gets along with almost all creatures. She does jump on people when she is excited, but it is not harmful intent, it is playful and she just wants to be loved. Small children may misunderstand that, but she has never hurt anyone, and is a very submissive dog when disciplined. We have tried to work on her with this feeding behavior but she hasn't been able to stop. She knows lots of tricks (sit, Lay down, roll over, and stay), and is still very teachable.
