I need to rehome my dog. When we got her a year and a half ago from the animal shelter. We were told she was 4 years old. She had been abused and she weighed 30 lb. She now weighs 42 lb but she is still very cautious and has a bit of anxiety. She doesn't like loud noises. She likes to have an enclosed area that she can retreat to. She tolerates my Chihuahua and cockatoo. But it is recommended that she is an only dog because she has snapped at My chihuahua. I have three children 21, 15 and 12 and she is good with them but younger children I wouldn't recommend because she doesn't like loud noises or sudden movements they make her nervous. When we got her we were supposed she was allergic to beef and chicken so we got her salmon dog food. But recently she's been doing fine with regular food as long as it's dry. She definitely has anxiety issues and is very cautious sometimes to get in the car we have to pick her up and make her get in the car. She needs a lot of attention a lot of love and someone with a lot of patience. She is spayed and just last week I got her a 1-year rabies shot. She is my daughter's dog but my daughter hasn't been here recently to take care of her and I have a cockatoo that takes up a lot of my time so she's not getting the attention she needs. Again, I recommend that she is an only animal and there are no small children in the household. If you have any questions feel free to message me.
