About Stormy

STORMY is a 1 year old, 9.7 pound Chihuahua mix (we think maybe Doxie?) who was surrendered after her owner became homeless. LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Fenced yard and lots of love. Her happy place is where her person is. She is always found near by and loves being petted. She waits by the door when you leave and greets you with lots of kisses and a wagging tail when you return. Stormy gets along very well with other dogs and would enjoy a playmate, but she would be fine as an only as long as she's not spending too much time away from her person. She is fine with kids, but not cat tested. Stormy seems to be house trained and has not had accidents in her foster home. We have not tried her on a leash. She gets zoomies and loves to run and a fenced yard would be ideal for her. Stormy currently sleeps through the night in a crate but would prefer to sleep with her person if given the opportunity! She has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Stormy is the sweetest girl who will be a great addition for any family! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
