About Mocha

Mocha was rescued by myself. Her owner was my 1st cousin who passed away unexpectedly. I am a veterinary technician and i retrieved her and her sister from animal control after my cousin passed. She is near 2 years old. She is current on vaccines and is heartworm negative. I cannot say how she is will children, as i don't have any. Mocha is loving and wants to be close to you at all times. She does show aggression over attention given to other dogs near her at times. She and her house mate have a love/hate relationship. She has injured the housemate's forearm 2 times and there continues to be friction off and on between them. Mocha does ok with a resting cat but if it gives chase she will chase. My other dogs are more quiet tempered and there have been no problems there. I dont know how she will be with small dogs. She loves to go on walks and responds well to correction. Recently while running and playing she has injured her knee and could benefit from acl surgery. Also, she has allergies and itches off and on. I will only allow her to be placed with a good, loving home. I promised my cousin to make sure her dogs were cared for and that is important to me. My husband and i are unable to give Mocha the time she needs and having other pets it isn't fair to us or them to keep her. There is not enough time and space. I am willing to send her with medications to the right home.
