About Sparky

Sparky is a healthy 7 month old, 45 pound black lab mix who is up to date on all of his shots. He has not been neutered yet, as we were advised by our vet to wait if possible until he is at least a year old. We have been fostering him ever since his owner surrendered him last month. Knowing that we were not in a position to keep him permanently, we felt that we could at least help him find his forever home. He is a really smart dog and loves to play. He has quickly picked up several commands. Unfortunately he is a little anxious when it comes to other dogs and people that he doesnt know. That has been a challenge when trying to take him for a walk in our very busy neighborhood. Fortunately we have a big backyard he can play in. Additionally, Sparky does not get along with our aging cat, and for that reason we cannot keep him. We know there is the right home out there for Sparky and we want to help him find his forever home for him. Please reach out if you are interested in meeting Sparky or know anyone who would be.
