NORI 2 year-old Female Australian Shepherd/Mountain Cur mix needs re-homing. Nori has been with us since she was 7 weeks old, and she grew up with 2 small dogs in the family, so she often thinks she is one, herself. She has taken basic obedience training with RockyTop K-9, in Spring of 23. While this has helped, she definitely needs more work. Nori is also trained on E-Collar and Prong Collar. She's very lean, and may be good for certain types of sporting, with the right training. She would definitely benefit from having daily tasks or a job, and needs her exercise. She is Bell Trained, Kennel Trained, and House Broken. She is not very food motivated, but has a very high toy drive; specifically with balls. She gets very excited to play, and will let you know when she wants to. Nori is a high-energy dog, and anxious and reactive to other dogs, and has also shown some toy and food possessivity with other dogs. Because of this, she is likely to be best in a home where she is the only dog. We haven't introduced her to cats, so we don't know what her reaction would be like in those situations. Nori has also shown some anxiety with small children, so some caution may be necessary until she warms up. Although she can be wary with unfamiliar faces, she is a very loving and attached dog, and would love to be by your side once she acclimates to her new family.
