This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. am writing to you today in hopes of finding a rescue for our longest term dog here at our shelter, Koda, a 2 year old husky mix. Koda was around 6 months old when he first entered our care in July of 2022. Since he came to us we have built up his confidence and taught him his basic cues. He enjoys learning new tricks and working with people. Koda can be described as a happy-go-lucky guy, he's very smart and full of life. Koda absolutely loves to play fetch, jump in puddles, and mostly just to be with his people. The shelter environment is a difficult place for Koda to be able to show off his fun, full of life personality. We also have to consider quality of life that long term sheltering is having on him. Koda is having a difficult time in shelter environment and his quality of life is deteriorating. We are looking for a rescue outlet because he is at risk for humane euthanasia due to the effects of long term housing. We are looking forward to talking with you further about Koda.
