Foster has taken in DeeDee but a new home must be found urgently!! Vet Info: DeeDee is up to date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. She has not had a heartworm test. DeeDee is not microchipped. DeeDee had a sudden onset of blindness four years ago but is otherwise healthy apart from some skin allergies. Dog Info: DeeDee has been fostered in a boarding kennel for 2 years now. Foster took her in to prevent her from being euthanized simply because she is an alpha dog. DeeDee will not be able to stay at the kennel much longer and needs to find her forever home quickly. DeeDee is an 8 year old Chow/Shepherd/Pit mix who went blind suddenly about 4 years ago. She's spayed and UTD on vaccinations, DeeDee is sweet and very loving with people and loves receiving affection and attention. She warms quickly to new people. However, she wants to be Alpha so would probably be best with a submissive dog or as an only pet. DeeDee enjoys being able to run around inside the boarding kennel she's at and check things out. She appears to be good around cats and just wants to be loved. DeeDee knows the command sit. Foster has not seen any aggression but DeeDee would not be suited for homes with young children.
