About Flame

Meet Flame! Flame is 5 years old. He was born on June 26th, 2018.He has a fun and affectionate personality. He is very loyal and his favorite thing to do is cuddle on your lap. He also enjoys every opportunity for a belly rub! He has a beautiful red poodle coat, with some white on his chest. He gets along great with cats and other dogs. He really loves to follow you around and explore. He would do wonderful in a variety of lifestyles, but we prefer a home that is pretty calm, where he can be a happy lap dog and go on the occasional walk. He is a small guy, with a short, stocky build. He weighs just under 10 pounds. Flame is up to date on all of his vaccinations. He is up to date on deworming and flea and tick prevention as well. He has not yet been neutered, which is reflected in his adoption price, so his new owners have plenty leftover to get him fixed. We are working on making an appointment for him to be neutered, if he finds his new home before that, that's just fine! He has been freshly groomed. He is registered with ACA and UABR, he has pedigrees and papers included. He is microchipped as well. He will come with all of his paperwork; however I expect him to go to a home where he will be a pet only. He is not yet potty trained, this is something he and his new owner should master together! Flame is my latest rescue project. He came from a large commercial kennel that was closing. He has been a doggy daddy all of his adult life, it is now time for him to take it easy and be loved on the rest of his days. I am confident that Flame has many happy years ahead of him-he just needs to find the right people. His perfect home would include owners who are prepared to give him lots of attention, patience, and love. He is getting lots of love now, and learning a lot about being a pet, we are happy to have him with us until we are certain he is going to the right place!
