About Pua

Pua is a 7-yo Shih tzu who I adopted from a family because he was aggressive toward their new baby. He's very aggressive to ALL of our visitors, barking and actually snapping at them, and I have a heck of a time getting him to stop. He barks at and chases and attacks one of our cats who just had kittens and tried to bite or eat one. And if he gets out the door he runs away for about an hour every time���z���z He wasn't good with newborn baby/young children, but he has done well with my gentle 7-year-old daughter. I think he's stressed out here. I had to start working 12-hour shifts, sometimes 5 days a week so I haven't had the time to make him feel special �����%8F I think if he had a home where he was the only pet, he would do much better. He can be such a dear dog, he can do lots of tricks! Sit, stay, Up, spin, down, rollover, come, loves to play fetch with balls and his toys, waits for a treat nearby...
