About Zeus

It is with a real heavy heart I have to do this post. Due to unforeseen circumstances we have to rehome our Rotti. This is not for us but for him. We have had an illness and another circumstance that has arose and leaves our guy in his pen longer than we like him to be on a daily basis. He needs a loving home with lots of attention. He thinks he is a lap dog and wants lots of attention. :-) He is 3 1/2 and we have had him since he was a pup. We do not have papers and we didn't want them at the time. We were looking for a pet not a breeder. We did meet his parents and his siblings when we got him. Zeus needs a yard to play in and loves to run. A fenced in yard would be nice. We have almost an acre and when outside he stays with us. When he is by himself he tends to run. We live in the country and didn't feel the need to get a fence for him. I do have his crate if you would want it. It is not in the best shape as we have had it awhile. But it is his. He is used to sleeping at night in it. I shut out the lights and he knows it is bedtime. Our neighbors have dogs and he will visit them once in a while. Sometimes they get along and sometimes he is timid of them. He has been an only pet and I do think he would be ok with other dogs. We have two outdoor cats and he gets along with the one and the other he likes to chase. He has been around our son since we got him and he is 7 now. He does well with him and watches him closly when outside. I do have a shock collar that I put on him when he tends to run to much. He knows what it means. I don't use the shock setting. I use the sound setting. Sometimes we butt heads. LOL. He likes to think he is boss but, in the end, he knows we are the boss. I have put off this posting as long as possible. (six months) I am now on a time crunch and need to have him placed as soon as possible. Thank You.
