About GRACIE

** Hello! I'm Graceful Gracie! ** I'm a 4-year-old Shepherd Mix girl and I weigh about 87 lbs. My favorite things to do are going for walks in the sunshine, playing fetch in the yard with my volunteer buddies and cuddling up for snuggles while soaking up every ounce of their love and attention. But the BESTEST THINGS EVER are those stuffie toys with squeakers inside! They just make my day! You'll find me carrying a stuffie as I strut about the yard and sometimes on my walks too. On my way back to my kennel, I stop by the Volunteers' Office to find new toys, which I'll then proceed to hide. My volunteer buddies tell me I look super cute while doing that. I like to run the yard fence with friendly doggos, but I can be quite selective and may bark if I'm not comfortable with some of them. I'll 'Sit' when asked to, but most times all you'll need to do is crinkle a treat bag to get me to be a gooooo girl. I'm a foodie at heart, and sometimes, in my excitement to get to treats, I forget my manners and dive right in with all the enthusiasm of a kid in a candy store. With my exuberant nature and penchant for treat-gobbling, I can be a bit overwhelming for the small hooman kiddos. I wouldn't want to accidentally knock them over with my over-enthusiastic antics so it's best that I go to a home without small children. But hey, there's so much more to me than my love for snacks. You see, I may not be able to speak your language, but I've got plenty to say with my wagging tail, silly lopsided ears, soulful eyes, and adorable head tilts. I've been told I have quite the expressive face. I'm a quick learner and am always eager to please. With a little patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement, I can be the doggo of your dreams! I'm already spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated and am ready to get my wiggly butt home! With a stuffie in my mouth, of course! ** Gracie would do best in a home without small children due to food drive ** ## See attached video of Gracie! ##
