We have a beautiful GS named Kaiser. My adult daughter and her husband bought him as puppy, and he comes from a 'pedigreed' lineage of working dogs. Unfortunately, he is overly aggressive, has been known to nip (not bite) without discernible provocation, and is a bit of a bully. Especially when he thinks he is protecting family. He is hugely intelligent, but he struggles with being a good citizen. He was a member of my daughter's family until last July. During her pregnancy, we talked about not having a comfort level with Kaiser around the baby to come. To keep him in the family, we decided to have Kaiser come and live with me. I am a former Marine Corps dog handler, so Kaiser and I have always gotten on well. It really has not been fair to Kaiser. Living with me, he sends a lot of time on his own, as I have no other pets, and am still working. In my daughter's home, he had another dog, a couple of cats, and a huge yard. In addition, my daughter and her husband worked at home, before and during Covid. He had a lot of company; spent most of his days outside, and was treated like a child. This pet is neutered We would love to see Kaiser placed in an appropriate home. I'd love to discuss Kaiser with you. I want to see him in a better place. So, you will need to pass scrutiny, as a potential owner.
